PRAWN FRIED RICE |ONE POT MEAL

Prawn Fried Rice is quick, easy and one pot meal. Best thing of this recipe is one can cook with leftover rice or freshly cooked rice. Procedure is very simple and can be cooked in very little time. This fried rice is no doubt a blessing to busy and working moms or for beginners.

Let's start cooking:-

INGREDIENTS:-



  1. Prawn - 10 to 12 pieces

  2. Capsicum - 1( chopped)

  3. Carrots - 1 ( chopped)

  4. Onion - 1 ( chopped)

  5. Green Chilli - 2 (finely chopped)

  6. Garlic - 1 tsp ( finely chopped)

  7. Soy sauce - 1tsp

  8. Black pepper powder - 2 tsp

  9. Steam rice - 11/2 cup

  10. Salt - to taste

  11. Butter/ oil - 1 1/2 tbsp( as required)

  12. . Eggs - 2


METHOD:-

  1. Clean and devine the prawn. Marinate the prawns with black pepper powder and salt. Keep it aside.


  1. Chop all the veggies in small pieces.

  2. Take a pan add butter stir fry the prawn till it trun pink in colour. Once done keep it aside.

  3. Add butter in the same pan if required as we don't want to lose the prawn flavoure. Keep the flame at lowest and then add finely chopped garlic .As soon as it trun brownish add chopped onion for few seconds on medium to high flame till it turn translucent.

  4. Now add chopped veggies ,black pepper powder, salt and keep stirring for another one to two minutes.

  5. Now add fried prawns and mix well.

  6. Add steam rice and mix the whole with light handed.

  7. Add soy sauce half the quantity and mix well. Repeat the same. Check the salt.

  8. Prawn Fried Rice is ready. Switch off the gas oven. Cover with a lid . Give standing time of two minutes.


  1. In the mean while take a bowl add two eggs ,black pepper powder and beat well.

  2. Take another pan add 1tsp butter as soon as it get melted add beaten eggs and keep stirring( for few seconds)to get soft scramble egg.


  1. Now serve hot prawn fried rice with scramble egg .

NOTE:-

  1. Add your choice of veggies.

  2. Egg scramble can be added in fried rice also.
