CHOCOLATY TIL LADDOO

Til ke laddoo or Sesame laddoo must sweet prepared on Makar Sankranti. Til ke laddoo are traditional Indian sweet balls prepared with sesame seeds and jaggery. These sweet balls taste delicious with awesome nutty aroma.


Here in the recipe I have given a twist by adding cocoa powder, cashew powder, til( sesame) and sugar. I am sure once you eat one, there no stopping.

Let's makes laddoo:--

INGREDIENTS:--





  1. Milk -- 4 cups

  2. Cashew powder -- 1 cup

  3. Sugar -- 1 1/2 cups

  4. Milk powder -- 1/2 cup

  5. Cocoa powder -- 2 tsp

  6. Til (sesame) --1 cup( roasted)

  7. Ghee/ butter --for greasing

METHOD :--

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan add milk to a boil. Add sugar and mix till it melts.

  2. Now add cashew powder, mix and cook till the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan. At this point add cocoa powder and half the quantity of til( sesame seeds).

  3. Stirring continuously.

  4. Now take the pan off the heat and transfer the mixture into a plate . Let it cool down little bit.



  1. Grease your fingers with some ghee / butter and also grease the mould and sprinkle some til in mould as shown in pic.


  1. Add small portions of the mixture in silicon mould. Press and even out the top. Keep aside for 10 min. Or one can make laddoo out of it.



  1. De-mould and roll them in sesame seeds. Keep it in refrigerator for couple of hours.

  1. Enjoy mouthwatering soft laddoo.



  1. Serve as required.
