Samak ki kheer is super rich and mouthwatering dessert and is totally perfect for fasting days. Even if you are not fasting you can just indulge in this mouthwatering dessert. The tiny little barnyard millets blend so well in milk and make a creamy and tasty kheer.
Let's prepare the kheer.
INGREDIENTS:--
Milk-- 800ml
Samak rice-- 1/2cup
Sugar-- to taste
Dry fruits-- handful(of your choice)
Green cardamom-- 1tsp
1. Take half cup of samak rice in a bowl.
2. Wash it throughly and soak for 15 min.
3. Now take a heavy bottom pan and add milk and bring it to boil.
4. Now add soak rice.
5. Cook for 15 minutes or till the rife is fully done. Stir occasionally. Keep the heat at lowest.
6. Check rice is fully done or not.
7. Once the rice is done add chopped Dry fruits and Sugar.
8. Mix it well. Kheer should be in pourable consistency.
9. Add Green cardamom powder.
10. Mix it well and cover the pan for five minutes. Switch off the heat.
11. Samak ki kheer is ready to serve.
12. Serve warm or chilled.
