PUMPKIN SEEDS(Health benefits)


Pumpkin seeds is a super food. Its have lots of health benefits. We should add in our daily diets. Let's see how it benefits our body.

  1. Pumpkin seedsare rich in antioxidants.

  2. Pumpkin seeds are a super food because they are high in zinc

  3. Pumpkin seeds are rich in vitamin C, which plays an important role in hair growth.

  4. Eating pumpkin seeds in weight loss journey is beneficial.

  5. Pumpkin seeds improve bone density.

  6. People who have sleep issues they can consume right before the bed time or after dinner.

  7. The best time to consume pumpkin seeds is either in morning or as a snacks in between the meals.

  8. It is recommended serving per day is a quarter cup only.

  9. Use pumpkin seeds in salads, soups, yogurt, granola, smoothies ,humms dips.

  10. Pumpkin seeds are high in fiber so eating large amount may cause gas or boating. Eating large amount of pumpkin seeds at once may cause constipation.

ROASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS

INGREDIENTS:---

1.Pumpkin seeds-- 1 cup

2. Cashewnuts--1/2cup(optional)

3. Black pepper-- 1tsp

4.Chat masala--1tsp

5. Salt-- to taste

6.Red chilli powder-- a pinch

7. Olive oil/ Clarified butter--2tsp


METHOD:--

  1. Take a fry pan add olive oil or clarified butter in the pan. Keep the hear at low to medium.

  2. As soon as oil get heated add cashew nuts stir till it trun light brown in colour. Keep aside.

  3. In the same pan now add pumpkin seeds stir till it crackle and trun slightly brown. Keep aside.

  4. Now take a big bowl add roasted pumpkin seeds and cashew nuts and rest of the ingredients.

  5. Toss well.

  6. Store it in air container jar.

  7. Eats and enjoy the healthy snacks.
