Let's prepare the Paneer masala:--
INGREDIENTS:--
Paneer-- 400g
Khoya-- 1/2cup (grated)
Cashew-- 24 pieces
Tomatoes--3 medium(chopped)
Ginger-- 1 inch(roughly chopped)
Green chilli-- 3 or to taste
Turmeric powder-- 1/2tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder 2tsp
Cumin powder-- 1tsp
Coriander powder-- 1&1/2 tsp
Kasuri methi-- 1&1/2tsp
Garam masala powder-- 1tsp
Salt -- to taste
Sugar -- 1tsp
Green cardamon-- 2
Cinnamon stick-- 1inch
Cloves -- 4
Green cardamon powder-- 1tsp
Fresh cream-- 2tbsp
Oil -- as required
Milk-- 3/4 cup
METHOD:--
Cut paneer into pieces and keep aside.
2. Make a smooth paste out of tomatoes,green chilli,cashew, ginger.
3. Add powdered masala and sugar in the tomato paste. Mix it well and keep aside.
4. Now take a fry pan add oil. Add Green cardamon, Cinnamon, Clove for tempering.
Now add pre prepared tomato paste and salt.
Stir it till continuously because cashew has tendency to stick in the bottom.
Add khoya and mix well.
Now add remaining cashew nuts in the masala.
Stir continuously till oil ooze out.
10. Now add paneer cubes and mix well.
11. Mix well all the ingredients.
Add 3/4 cup Milk and give a nice mix.
13. Cover the fry pan with a lid for 4 to 5 minutes.
Remove the lid. Check the consistency. Switch off the heat.
Add fresh cream and green cardamon powder.
Give a nice mix. Again cover with lid give standing time.
Paneer masala is ready to serve.
