MURG MALAI CURRY

Murg Malai Curry is basically

a Punjabi dish. It is a Indian style creamy chicken dish cooked with few simple ingredients and fresh cream. It is super delicious and have a unique flavoure. Spices that goes in this recipe is very aromatic. Kasuri methi leaves takes the dish to the next level. Murg malai curry is off white in shade because of the cream.



Here in this recipe I have used boneless chicken which save cooking time as bone-in-meat take much time to cook. I have cook murg malai curry in my style. Hope u all will love it.

Lets prepare the mouthwatering dish.

INGREDIENTS:--

For Marination--

  1. Chicken-- 300g(cut in cubes)

  2. Salt-- 1tsp

  3. Black pepper powder-- 1tsp

For Gravy--

  1. Onion-- 2medium(sliced)

  2. Cashew nuts-- 1/4cup(broken)

  3. Green chilli--4 or to taste

  4. Ginger-- 1 inch(chopped)

  5. Garlic-- 10 to12(chopped)


  1. Now take a pan add oil . As soon as oil heat up add sliced onions, ginger, garlic, green chilli, cashew.


  1. Keep stirring. Add pinch of salt.

  1. Stir till the onion trun light brown. Remove from the heat keep aside till it comes to room tempeture.


  1. Make a smooth paste out of it for gravy. Keep aside.

  2. Again add required oil in the same pan. And all the whole spices for tempering.

  1. Now add prepared onion paste.

  1. Mix well . Add chicken.

  1. Mix well . Add all the powdered masala and salt to taste.

  1. Mix thoroughly. Cover the pan for 5 to 7 min.

  2. Stir occasionally. Add kasuri methi and 2 tbsp fresh cream.


  1. Again mix well and cover it till the chicken is completely done.

  1. Switch off the flame. Add remaining fresh cream mix it. Cover the pan and give a standing time of 5 min.

  1. Murg Malai Curry is ready to serve.

  1. Serve murg malai curry with roti,naan,tandoori roti, butter naan, pulav, paratha.
