MASALA KAJU/SPICY CASHEW NUTS

Masala kaju are delicious, guilt free and a healthy snacks made with simple spices.



Crunchy cashewnuts are not only delicious but super easy to make. You can seasoned and flavoured with your choice of herbs and spices according to your taste. One can substitute cashew with peanut and almonds.



Lets prepare the masala kaju.

INGREDIENTS:--

  1. Cashewnuts-- 2cups (whole)

  2. Ghee/Clarified butter-- 1tbsp

  3. Red chillipowder-1tsp

  4. Black pepper powder-- 2tsp

  5. Chaat Masala-- 2tsp

  6. Salt-- to TASTE

2. Now take fry pan add ghee / Clarified butter.


3. As soon as ghee melts add cashew nuts.


  1. Stir continuously at lowest heat till it trun light brown.

  1. As soon as it trun light brown transfer it in a plate to cool down.


  1. Now take a big bowl. Transfer the cashewnuts.


  1. Add all the dried spices.


8. Mix well . Adjust salt at this point. One can reduce or increase the masala quantity according to the taste buds.


9. Masala should coat each and every cashewnuts.



10.Masala kaju is ready to serve. Enjoy with your family and friends or serve in parties.
