MANGO SAGO KHEER(sabudana)

Mango Sago kheer is made of sago(sabudana) and flavoured with fresh sweet ripe mangoes. It is a delicious Indian desert. As the mango season is getting over, you can make this delicious kheer and enjoy with family and friends. Enjoy the mango season and try different mango recipes before the season ends.


It is a very easy recipe. This particular recipe is favourite at my home. It is so simple enough that you can make it often at any occasions. Elegant enough to serve to guests.

Let's prepare the mango sago kheer :--


INGREDIENTS:--

  1. Sago --1cup(soaked)

  2. Milk-- 500ml

  3. Mango plup-- 1cup

  4. Dry fruits-- handful

  5. Sugar-- to taste

  6. Yellow food colour--2drops(opt.)


  1. Take 1 cup soaked sago(sabudana).


  1. Add soaked sago in milk. Cook till sago trun translucent or float on the surface.


  1. At this point add sugar and yellow food colour, it will give a nice golden colour to the kheer.

  1. Cook of another 2 to 3 minutes after adding food colour. Add dry fruits of your choice.

  1. Sago kheer is ready. Switchoff the heat and keep it aside,let it cool down completely. But we are preparing mango sago(sabudana) kheer still recipe is not complete.

  2. Now take a mixer jar add ripe mango of your choice and make a fine paste or you can strain the plup to get smooth paste.



  1. As soon as the sago kheer cool down add mango pulp in batches and mix throughly.


  1. Now the mango sago kheer is completely ready to serve.


1. Keep it in refrigerator for approx. 30 minutes. It taste better when severed chill .

Enjoy with family and friends or serve in parties. Prepare with in 15 minutes.
