INSTANT RABRI

Rabri is popular Indian sweet. Basically Rabri is thickened malai or cream in it. Rabri is flavoured with cardamom powder, saffron, or rose essence with the additional of dry fruits. Whole preparation is easy but takes long time.

Here I am sharing instant rabri recipe. By simply using bread crumbs to thickened the rabri almost instantly. It reduce the time of preparation and equally good in taste.

Let's prepare the delicious rabri.

INGREDIENTS:--

  1. White bread -- 4 or 6 pieces

  2. Milk powder-- 2tbsp

  3. Ghee/clarified butter-- 2tbsp

  4. Milk-- 500ml

  5. Saffron-- a pinch

  6. Cardamom powder-- 1tsp

  7. Dry fruits-- handful(chopped)

  8. Sugar-- to taste

  9. Rose water-- 2tsp(optional)

METHOD :--

  1. Take four or six pieces of White bread.

2. Remove the edges of the bread.

3. Now grind the bread slices in mixer jar and grind it.

4. Now take a fry pan, add ghee and bread crumbs.

5. Stir continuesly on low heat till it trun light brown.

6. Now a heavy bottom pan add milk,Let's it comes to boil.

7. As soon as it comes to boil add saffron.

8. Now add milk powder, mawa, chopped dry fruits, sugar. Stir well.

9. Now add bread crumbs in small batches. Till the milk get thickened.

10. Within few minutes the milk will get thickened.

11. Now switch off the heat. Add cardamom powder and rose water.

12. Instant rabri is ready to serve.
