EGG BIRYANI

Biryani is a "love". Whether it is veg. or non veg. biryani . Basically it is a fragrant basmati rice cooked with aromatic biryani spices.

Egg Biryani is one of the most easiest, delicious and flavourful biryani that one can make at home with very few ingredients available in kitchen. It is not a dum biryani. Egg biryani can be prepared in a pot, pressure cooker, or an instant pot.

So,without wasting time lets prepare Egg Biryani.

INGREDIENTS:---

Egg marination---

  1. Egg-- 5(boiled)

  2. Salt-- 1/2tsp

  3. Red chilli powder-- 1/2tsp

  4. Turmeric powder--1/2tsp


Marinate the eggs and keep aside.


For Masala---

  1. Onion-- 2large(slices)

  2. Oil-- 1/2(as required)

  3. Ghee -- 2tbsp

  4. Green cardamon-- 2

  5. Black cardamon--1

  6. Cloves-- 4

  7. Black peppercorn-- 6 to 7

  8. Mace --1

  9. Nutmeg--1/2 piece(crush)

  10. Bay leaves--2

  11. Ginger-- 1 inch

  12. Garlic-- 8 to 10 Cloves

  13. Salt-- to taste

  14. Red chilli powder-- 1tsp

  15. Coriander powder-- 1tsp

  16. Cumin powder-- 1tsp

  17. Garam masala-- 1tsp

  18. Tomato-- 2(medium)

  19. Green chilli-- 1

  20. Curd -- 1/4cup

  21. Rice -- 1cup

  22. Coriander leaves --

  23. Mint leaves--

  24. Rose water-- 1tsp

  25. Kewra water-- 1tsp

METHOD:--

  1. Soak rice for 20 minutes.

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan. Add oil. As soon as oil get heated add slices onion.

  1. Fry slices onion till it trun brown.

1. Keep the fried onion aside.

2. Add marinated eggs in the same oil. As we don't want to lose the flavour of onion.

  1. Keep the fried eggs aside.

  1. In the same pan add 1tbsp Ghee.

  2. Take a mixer jar add roughly cut tomato,green chilli, ginger, garlic. Make a fine paste.

  3. Now add whole spices in pot as soon as it crackle and release the aroma add pre prepared tomato paste.

1. Stir till half done.

2. Now add Curd.

  1. Mix it well.

  1. Stir continuously till oil ooze out.

  1. Now add fried eggs. Mix well with masala.

  1. Add 1/4 fried onion and chopped half the quantity coriander and mint leaves. Mix well

  1. Now add soaked rice.

  1. Add 2 cup of water. Give a nice mix. Adjust the salt at this point.

  1. Cover the pan with a lid.

  2. When the is almost done add fried onion rest of the coriander and mint leaves.

  3. Also add rose water and Kewra water.

  1. Again cover the pot with the lid till it fully done. Give standing time of 7 to 10 minutes.

  1. Egg Biryani is ready to serve.

  2. Serve biryani with raita.
