CHICKEN BHARTA

Chicken Bharta tastes heavenly as it has dhaba style preparation where Chicken is shredded and mixed with spicy creamy gravy. This is deliciously creamy in taste by the used of mashed egg yolk and fresh cream.


This is one must try recipe. Make this flavourful recipe for your family and friends.


INGREDIENTS:--

  1. Boneless chicken-- 500g

  2. Ginger paste-- 1 1/2tbsp

  3. Garlic paste-- 11/2tbsp

  4. Red chillipowder-11/2tsp

  5. Kashmiri red chillipowder-11/2tsp

  6. Coriander powder--2tsp

  7. Cumin powder-- 1tsp

  8. Garam masala-- 1tsp

  9. Kasuri methi-- 1tsp

  10. Tomato-- 2( medium)

  11. Onion -- 3( medium)

  12. Poppy seeds-- 1tbsp

  13. Cashew nuts-- 10 --12

  14. Melon seeds-- 1 1/2tsp

  15. Fresh cream-- 3-4 tbsp

  16. Boiled Eggs-- 3

  17. Oil -- 1/2 cup

  18. Cinnamon stick-- 2 inch

  19. Cloves-- 4

  20. Green cardamon-- 2

METHOD:--

  1. Clean the boneless chicken throughly.


  1. Now take a pan add 1 cup water and 1tsp salt . Add chicken cubes and cover the pan. Let it cook till fully done.


  1. Lets prepare the masala for the chicken Bharta.

  2. Take cashew nuts,poppy seeds, melon seeds.

5. Make fine paste out of it. Keep aside.


6. Make fine paste of tomatoes,ginger, garlic.


7. Add all the powdered spices in tomato paste and mix it well and keep aside.


8. Cut the onion ( minced) and keep aside.



  1. Now remove the lid of the pan and check the chicken is fully done or not.



  1. If done switch off the gas. Let it comes to room tempeture. Then shredd it with the help of fork.

10. Cut the boiled eggs in 8 pieces. Keep aside.



  1. Now take heavy bottom pan. Add oil . As soon as oil heat up add green cardamon, Cinnamon stick, black cardamon, Cloves .


  1. Now add chopped onion.

  1. Stir till it turn golden brown.

14. Add pre prepared tomato paste. Add salt at this point according to taste





  1. Stir continuously till oil ooze out.

16. Now add shredded chicken and boil eggs. Along with 1/2cup of water.



  1. Mix it well and cover with a lid . Keep the flame at lowest. Let it cook for next 5 minutes.

  2. Open the lid after 5 minutes and give a nice mix. Again cover the lid for next 5 minutes .


19 . Now open the lid add pre prepared cashew paste. Mix well.


  1. Now add fresh cream. Give a nice mix. Cover with a lid for next 2 minutes.


  1. After 2 minutes finally open the lid.


  1. Chicken Bharta is ready to serve. Serve with any kind of Indian breads.
