Burani raita is a unique kind of raita. It is a Hyderabadi cuisine. Burani raita is served with biryani, pulav or any kind of muglai cuisine. The speciality of this raita is "raw garlic ". Raw garlic is add in the curd and its intense taste gives a unique taste and flavour to the raita. If you don't like the raw taste of garlic simply saute chopped garlic in oil or ghee and add it in curd. So, without wasting time let's quickly prepare the Burani Raita.
INGREDIENTS:--
Curd-- 400g
Garlic--5 Cloves(finely chopped)
Red chillipowder-1tsp
Salt-- to taste
METHOD:--
Take a big bowl add thick curd.
2. Beat well with a whisker to get smooth curd. Keep aside.
3. Now take raw garlic.
4. Finely chopped the garlic or one can use the motar and pestle.
5. Transfer it in a bowl and add 1tbsp water it keep aside for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes add raw garlic ,red chilli powder, salt in curd.
Mix well. Burani raita is ready. Now keep the raita in refrigerator for 30 min. It taste best when served chilli.
