MANGO/AAM BHARTA/ NO OVEN/ NO COOKING

Summer time means mango time. This is the time when the markets are full of juicy and ripe mangoes. MANGO is known as KING of fruits because of its unique flavoure,fragrance and taste. There are endless mango recipe like mango kulfi, mango salsa, mango shake, mango chutney, mango ice cream, mango lassi, mango margarita, mango bharta, mango pickle, mango mousse...... so on. Let's make mango bharta today. Easy and quick recipe.



INGREDIENTS--

  1. Ripe mango-- 1

  2. Raw mango-- 1

  3. Mustard sauce-- 1/2 tbs(kasundi)

  4. Green Chilli--2(to taste)

  5. Black salt-- a pinch ( to taste)

  6. Jaggery-- 1/2 tbs( to taste)

  7. Red chilli powder--1/8tsp

  8. Cumin powder-- 1/8tsp(roasted)

METHOD--

  1. Take two kind of mango raw and ripe of your choice. It should be firm.


  1. Now take a grater and grate the mangoes. One can finely chop the mangoes also. Transfer the grated mango into a big bowl.


  1. Add all the other ingredients.


  1. Mix well. Adjust salt and sweetness according to taste. It should be tangy,spicy and sweet.


  1. It should have balance taste.


  1. Mango bharta is ready. Keep it in refrigerator for 30 min .

  2. Serve it chilled as a dip,side dish or you can enjoy as it is.

  3. Mango bharta is ready to serve. Garnish with dash of roasted cumin powder and red chilli powder.
